The Owner:
Thank you so much for stopping by! My name is Ellie and I am the owner and sole proprietor of The Aesthetique Philosophie, a neuro-affirming clothing brand that celebrates the beauty of our differences. In addition, I'm a mom of 2 amazing girls. My oldest, Lexi, is Autistic and awesome.
As a former graphic designer, and lover of all things visual, I started The Aesthetique Philosophie to blend my passion for design with a celebration of the beauty in the neurodivergent community.
My teenage daughter has taught me what true beauty is by having the most pure and beautiful soul of anyone I've ever met.
What's in a name?
Aesthetics is the philosophical study of beauty. Beauty is a subjective concept, and exists in the mind that observes it, or in the "eye of the beholder", as the saying goes.
Fortunately, our brain is an elastic, adaptable, amazing organ and most of us have the ability to see things in a new light when given the information we need to formulate our own opinions and views.
My aim is to give society a peek into the beauty of the neurodiverget community by combining my products with a focus on the amazing individuals who are part of it. Read more about The Aesthetique Philosophie models here.
The more we are acquainted with people we aren't familiar with, the more our eyes and hearts are open to seeing the beauty beyond the label and ridding ourselves of some inaccurate stereotypes that cause more harm than good.
My philosophy is that there is beauty in everyone. This is where The Aesthetique Philosophie got its name. I hope that through my brand, I can help empower individuals of all abilities to feel confident in who they are.
